JST NEXUS PROGRAM · 2025 - 2029
Building the Next Generation of Vietnam–Japan Semiconductor Leaders
The JST NEXUS UTokyo–HUST project combines cutting-edge semiconductor research with PhD training, international internships, and academic exchange programs to cultivate young Vietnamese researchers and engineers.
About the Project
What is JST NEXUS?
NEXUS, “Networked Exchange, United Strength for Stronger Partnerships between Japan and ASEAN,” is a JST framework to strengthen Japan–ASEAN science and technology cooperation. Its activities include international joint research and researcher exchange/development.
Our UTokyo–HUST project is one of the Japan–Vietnam semiconductor projects selected under this framework.
Our Mission: Semiconductor Talent Development for Vietnam and Japan
Through collaborative research, international exchange, and hands-on experience, the NEXUS UTokyo–HUST project aims to cultivate young Vietnamese researchers who can contribute to the future semiconductor ecosystem in Vietnam, Japan, and beyond.
